This week is like heaven for Pac-12 enthusiasts. It starts tomorrow with USC heading to Colorado, and although that might not sound like the sexiest matchup on paper, it has the potential to be another close game for USC, with Colorado keeping it competitive for some time.
Then we get two teams with losing records, with Arizona State who is better than their record says, and Washington, who has used their defense to stay afloat.
Both teams are fighting for bowl eligibility, and a loss here could seal their fate. It ultimately depends on which Arizona State team wants to show up, but regardless, you know that the Washington Husky defense will come out to play.
Oregon and Stanford highlight the Pac-12 North matchups, and this is a game that Stanford could very easily lose. People were quick to write Oregon off, but this is still a solid team, that might even be top 25 caliber by the end of the season. Stanford is playing for College Football Playoff implications, but Oregon could be out to prove that they’re still Oregon.

Oregon State is struggling hard, and so is California, but Oregon State is just really that bad.
This game has all the potential for an upset in the making. Arizona is facing a down year, but they’ve had Utah’s number the last three years under Rich Rodriguez. Speaking of Rich Rodriguez, he’s done eerily well against top-10 teams, taking one down each of the last three years.
And then the night ends with one of the better match ups, Washington State at UCLA. It’s really a travesty that this game is being played at 10:45pm on the east coast, no wonder there’s east coast bias.
Match this game up against the Oregon-Stanford, Utah-Arizona game, and this is a strong weekend for the Pac-12.
