USC vs Stanford live stream: Watch Trojans vs Cardinal online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday evening’s big USC vs Stanford rivalry live stream online.
Another year, another elite David Shaw-coached Stanford team. The Cardinal opened the 2016 season around the top 10 yet again and are up to No. 7 after a win over Kansas State in Week 1 followed by a bye. Kevin Hogan might be gone, but this team hasn’t skipped a beat.
Coming off a Rose Bowl victory last season, Stanford is poised to make an even deeper run, likely at a playoff spot. Senior quarterback Ryan Burns beat out Keller Chryst for the starting job and he looked solid in his opener, completing 14-of-18 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown.
Passing wasn’t the focal point, though, as the Cardinal have Heisman-hopeful running back Christian McCaffrey to rely on. He had 22 rushes for 126 yards and two touchdowns and seven receptions for 40 yards. Look for him to have a big game against a top rival.
The USC Trojans are looking to rebound after a 52-6 drubbing in the season opener against No. 1 Alabama. It may have been an embarrassing loss, but that’s just how good Alabama is. It also went on to show first-year coach Clay Helton how far his team still has to go.
Week 2’s performance was much better as USC looked much more Trojan-like in a 45-7 win over Utah State. Max Browne had a nice game in his second contest under center as the starter and he has 283 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions this season. He will continue to improve with more experience.

The run game was silent against Alabama, as you can imagine, but Aca’Cedric Ware is starting to stand out, rushing for 79 yards and the Trojans’ only rushing touchdown on 17 carries. Justin Davis and Ronald Jones have combined for 126 yards on 35 carries.
