College Football Hot Seat 2018: 5 coaches who must win in Week 7

4. Chip Kelly, UCLA Bruins

No matter how excited the Bruins fan base was to get Chip Kelly, they are now all making the same face that Kelly is making in the picture shown above. There is nothing good that this man has done for the Bruins, literally nothing. This is a guy that is so much better in the NFL than he will ever be in the College Football ranks.

The Bruins are currently 0-5 on the season and some of those losses are just inexcusable. As a “dominant Pac-12 team”, you shouldn’t be losing to the likes of Fresno State.

This week, the Bruins take on the Cal Golden Bears. This one is a must win for Chip Kelly because if anyone can make a midseason firing happen, it’s those schools over in California.

Simply put, the Pac-12 is really bad this season, but UCLA is taking that level of bad to a completely different level. If you think a single fan is excited about having Chip Kelly at the helm of their program right now, I would call you certifiably insane. I have no qualms about saying that either.
