College football’s early signing day is officially upon us, so where are all the top recruits committing? Check out where some of the nation’s best are headed.
While it may not be as huge as the real deal in February, Wednesday’s early signing day for the 2019 class has still drawn some attention in the college football world.
It’s a time for those recruits who are already committed to select schools to make it official and get the process over with early, relieving some head coaches of the waiting game while others have yet to make their decision but will do so on Dec. 19.
There will be some surprises riddled throughout Wednesday’s early signing period, but the main focus will be on schools maintaining some star players and avoiding the dreaded flip to another school or failing to garner the early letter of intent.
College football is still in the midst of bowl season, but you can bet this early signing day will get more attention than the early bowl games being played in these first few weeks.
Some important questions will be asked after signing day such as did my team finish the way it expected? Were there any surprises? Or what kind of impact does this signee have on the program for the immediate future?
Coaches will be relieved to have these classes closer to being solidified, but the stress will never end as February’s National Signing Day is still circled on everyone’s calendars.
Here’s a rundown of the top recruits who have already announced their verbal pledges on Wednesday morning/afternoon:
