2. This game proved Kellen Mond isn’t a problem

So many people have spent this season blaming Kellen Mond for the Aggies struggles, though their only losses have come to highly ranked teams. I have not been on that team as of yet though and I think this game finally showed that Mond isn’t the reason for the team’s struggles.

Against a struggling defense in Mississippi State, the offensive line didn’t have to do as much and as a result, we got to see Mond shine as the quarterback we all know he can be. He got going both on the ground and through the air, throwing with confidence. He made sure that the offense produced scores after his defense forced turnovers — something that turned out to be extremely important in this one.

Will Mond beat LSU? Probably not. Georgia maybe and South Carolina we can hope. However, it won’t be specifically his fault with any loss I can promise you that. I am not convinced that the offensive line has gotten it together and it will get tested in a big way in the upcoming weeks.
