2. Kellen Mond’s protection has to be there

Texas A&M has not had the best offensive line this season and that has been its downfall in many cases. They have allowed an SEC worst 33 sacks this season, so to say that it has been a weak spot is putting it mildly.

For this game to swing in the Aggies favor, this unit has to protect their quarterback and they have to do so successfully throughout the game. Isaiah Spiller can’t do his thing either without help from the offensive line, so things will run through the trenches for sure in this one.

Of course, some of this victory key lands in the lap of Kellen Mond himself. He has to be the leader that he is expected to be. He has to get this offense where it needs to be. Keep an eye on the Aggie quarterback who, while likely to stay another year, still has a decision to make at the end of this game.

Will he stay for 2020 or will he head out bigger things?
