The teammate of Yaya Diaby at Georgia Military College should also have a major impact on the Cardinals in 2020. Three-star offensive tackle Trevor Reid is the top-rated signee in Louisville’s 2020 recruiting class and even though he could afford to add some weight to his 6-foot-5 frame, he’s going to help fill a position of need.

Louisville will be down Mekhi Becton and Tyler Haycraft from the tackle spots this upcoming season and Reid has a couple years of JUCO experience under his belt.

Reid is the No. 16 JUCO prospect in the country as well as the second-best offensive tackle at that level which isn’t surprising when you watch his film. He has the potential to be a starter early on and he’s one of Scott Satterfield’s first offensive line recruits.

If Louisville wants to build the offensive line, it needs to give Reid a serious shot and even if he’s not big enough yet for the outside, he can add some weight this summer and get closer to 300 pounds by the fall. He should have an immediate impact for the Cardinals.
