Eastern Washington is two years removed from an appearance in the FCS Championship Game and after a disappointing 7-5 season in 2019, the Eagles are projected to finish in the middle of the pack, or so, in the Big Sky.

This could very well be a tough battle with Big Sky’s leading offensive player in Eric Barriere returning but the Gators should shut him down with that elite defense.

Obviously the Sun Belt is better than any FCS opponent Florida might face, but South Alabama isn’t exactly a powerhouse in that league.

In fact, the Jaguars went just 2-10 last season and are projected to finish right in the middle of the Sun Belt West in 2020. South Alabama is just 5-19 in two years under head coach Steve Campbell and while the Jaguars should fare much better than 2-10 this season, there’s zero chance an upset is brewing here in Week 3.
