Florida will open its 2020 campaign against FCS powerhouse Eastern Washington and the main thing that Gator fans should want out of this game is for it to be short and sweet and without any injuries.

The Gators should win with ease here but it will be important for some playmakers to gain some valuable playing time. Florida needs someone to step up at wide receiver, pass rusher, and linebacker and a game like this is a chance for some early reps and a chance to gain experience. Expect a big Gators victory here.

Final Score: Florida 49, Eastern Washington 13 (1-0)

Scouting Report. Kentucky Wildcats. player. Pick Analysis. Sept. 12. Gainesville (Fla.). 2. 833

A rivalry that has seen Florida famously win 32 of the last 33 games, Kentucky has played the Gators very tough since Mark Stoops has taken over the program and the Wildcats are going to be thinking upset in 2020.

Kentucky is coming off of an 8-5 season in 2019 and that is amazing considering how one dimensional the Wildcats’ offense became after starting quarterback Terry Wilson went down with an injury. Lynn Bowden did a fine job running the offense for Kentucky, but there was not much of a threat of a passing game and that should improve with Wilson returning.

Kentucky is returning 17 starters from an eight-win team and they won’t be an easy matchup for anyone. This has the makings of a potential upset, but Dan Mullen will have the Gators ready to play and avoid an early setback in the SEC East.

Final Score: Florida 27, Kentucky 20 (2-0, 1-0 SEC)
