1. Florida wins by 40 points

Vanderbilt averages just over 16 points per game and allows over 35 per contest while Florida puts up about 46 points per game. That’s a recipe for disaster.

Florida is the clear favorite to win this one and some oddsmakers have the Gators as 30-point favorites or more and I’m going one step further here, predicting a 40-point win.

Let’s face it, Vanderbilt just doesn’t have the firepower to compete with the Gators. Kyle Trask is going to remain red-hot, passing for over 300 yards and a few more touchdowns while the Gators will also get their first 100-yard rusher of the season. Emory Jones is going to come in during the second half and put up some points of his own.

Looking back, Vanderbilt has a couple of 30-plus point losses to Ole Miss, South Carolina and LSU and Florida has a better offense than all three. This one could get ugly.

If I’m going to give a final score prediction, I’m going with 52-10 Florida, if not worse.
