Florida Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Vanderbilt in Week 12
2. Kyle Trask passes for 300 yards in the first half
We won’t see a lot of Kyle Trask in the second half on Saturday afternoon. The Gators are going to build a comfortable first half lead and if I had to guess, they won’t need the senior quarterback to play much in the final 30 minutes.
Instead, we’re going to see Emory Jones take over in the third quarter and he’s going to make a name for himself. OK, this isn’t exactly the “big stage” against Vanderbilt, but Jones will have himself an impressive second half, showing Gator fans that the 2021 season won’t be too bad after all.
Trask will have himself quite the game in the first half, tossing the ball all over the field with ease against the Commodores, passing for 300 yards and three touchdowns, adding to that Heisman Trophy resume.
It won’t take many attempts for him to hit 300 yards, either. He’ll average over 10 yards per attempt and finish with just five incompletions and three scores. He’ll add another 50 rushing yards.
Vanderbilt isn’t going to have any answers for Trask and Florida.
