2. Florida has an unfair amount of weapons

When you think of Florida’s offense, you think of Kyle Trask. But it’s not just him.

Trask has plenty of weapons at his disposal in both the receiving corps and the backfield. The Gators may not have the best run game in the country but they still ran the ball 40 times for 173 yards with guys like Dameon Pierce, Malik Davis, Nay’Quan Wright and backup quarterback Emory Jones leading the way on the ground.

In the receiving game, even with Kyle Pitts out, Trask was able to pass for 383 yards and hit nine different receivers.

Kadrius Toney is the weapon of all weapons, leading the way with over 100 yards and a touchdown on six catches. Justin Shorter came transferred into the program this season and has had a serious impact, catching five passes for 94 yards on Saturday. Kemore Gamble had three catches for 66 yards and two scores, Jacob Copeland had five catches for 56 yards and Trevon Grimes had a touchdown on three receptions for 44 yards.

These weapons are truly unfair for most defenses and that’s why the Gators are so good.
