1. Florida beats Alabama in SEC title game

Two regular season games stand between Florida and the SEC championship and I believe that the Gators will have no problem eating up both Tennessee and LSU to finish the regular season 9-1. The Gators already beat Georgia so they have the upper hand in the SEC East title race and they’ll sew it up and gear up for a battle against Alabama on Dec. 19.

Everyone will be picking the Crimson Tide to win this one, but I truly think that Florida is this year’s LSU — not to an extreme degree — and they’ll shock some people.

Probably needing to win to ensure a spot in the playoff, Florida will take care of the red-hot Crimson Tide as Kyle Trask out-duels Mac Jones and proves to everyone just why he’s the best quarterback in the country and the eventual Heisman-winner.

Florida’s defense has been lacking this season but Alabama has had some questionable games on that side of the ball as well. This will be more of an offensive shootout than anything else and I think the Gators win those.

Dan Mullen makes his first appearance in the playoff with a win.
