2. Kyle Trask wins the Heisman Trophy

Kyle Trask has been unbelievable this season. He went from serviceable replacement for Feleipe Franks last season to a superstar in 2020. Sound like anyone else you know? That’s right, he’s this year’s version of Joe Burrow, to a lesser extent, and if he had 12 regular season games and a conference title matchup, he’d likely haver over 4,500 yards heading into bowl season.

This kid is playing out of his mind this year and right now he’s in the lead for the Heisman Trophy, pacing just ahead of Mac Jones and Zach Wilson.

Through eight games, Trask has 2,810 yards (fourth nationally) and 34 touchdowns (No. 1 in college football). He also has just three interceptions and the nation’s third-best overall QBR at 93.4. If that’s not impressive enough, he has a 71 percent completion rate and he rarely makes mistakes with his arm.

When the virtual Heisman ceremony rolls around, expect Trask to be taking home the hardware which will likely be shipped to him — thanks a lot, COVID-19.

Florida will have its first Heisman winner since Tim Tebow.
