3. Kyle Pitts will be a matchup nightmare

Oklahoma hasn’t seen a player like Kyle Pitts this season. Sure, the Sooners have faced their fair share of talented football players, but no one has had the capability of being an absolute matchup nightmare the way Kyle Pitts does.

Pitts matched up with Oklahoma’s linebackers has probably kept Alex Grinch up for days. Trying to contain Pitts will be a headache and he’s going to have himself a game.

Grinch is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country, but even he will be at a loss for adjustments when it comes to the nation’s premier tight end. Pitts will make a mockery of that improved Oklahoma defense, going off for over 100 yards and three touchdowns.

Does any team in the country have a more consistent matchup nightmare than Pitts? Probably not.

Expect the Sooners to struggle all game long against the Trask-Pitts connection.

Note: Pitts was ruled out for this matchup
