Most of this list is made up of defensive prospects and that’s because the Gators are in on so many blue-chip prospects on that side of the ball. Leading the way in that group has to be five-star defensive tackle Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy from Lakeland, Fla.

Imagine a future defensive line with Dante Anderson and Brownlow-Dindy lined up next to each other. Offensive lines wouldn’t even know how to handle all that talent up front.

The Gators will be in the hunt for this elite prospect until the end but Oklahoma is making life difficult for the rest of the teams pushing for him. In fact, the Sooners look to have a slight lead at this point in his recruitment but Clemson and Texas A&M are also right there. Don’t sleep on Dan Mullen and the Gators, however.

Brownlow-Dindy has been compared to Ed Oliver by 247Sports‘ Andrew Ivins and with his 6-3, 275-pound athletic frame, it’s easy to see why. That’s also incredibly high praise. He’s ranked the No. 16 prospect and third-best defensive tackle in the class by the composite.

But 247Sports lists him as the No. 5 prospect in America. This is a must-have prospect for Florida.
