A running back with the last name Etienne is looking to play college football? How could anyone say ‘no thanks’ to that?

Travis Etienne’s younger brother Trevor is one of the top running backs in the 2022 class and while he has said that he doesn’t plan on committing until January, there’s always a chance he could surprise people and sign on Wednesday. You really can’t ever rule anything out in the recruiting world.

There are three programs currently standing out with the Louisiana-based running back: LSU, Clemson, and Florida. LSU is in the mix because it’s the local program and also an elite one with Brian Kelly as the new coach, Clemson is in it for obvious reasons, and Florida is the only finalist in the running without an obvious connection.

Billy Napier has his work cut out for him in this recruitment and if he does sign Wednesday, it would be a miracle addition for Florida. It’s possible, but not likely.

Etienne is the 15th-best running back in the class and the No. 183 overall prospect.
