Florida Football: 3 more QB options to look at in 2022 transfer portal
Are you shocked about this one? Honestly, it surprised me, too, but I believe Chubba Purdy is that talented that Florida should consider trying to flip him to the good guys.
The Gators’ in-state rival wasn’t able to use Purdy as much as he would have liked over the past couple of years as he committed to the 2020 class hoping for some early playing time, especially with the Seminoles’ shaky quarterback room and he only attempted 58 passes over two years.
Purdy finished his Florida State career with 317 yards and four touchdowns on 55 percent completions. He also showed that he’s not afraid to run with the ball, rushing for 62 yards.
The younger brother of Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy was never offered by the Gators out of high school but he could look at the quarterback room and see an opportunity in Gainesville.
This would make for a fun storyline, especially if he became a star like I think he has the potential to be and turn around to beat his former team every year.
