Jeremiah Moon, LB/EDGE — No. 194 to the Vikings (6th round)

It feels like Jeremiah Moon has been in college forever because, well, he kind of has been, committing to Florida all the way back in the 2016 class. Since then, he’s played six seasons and he’s fresh off his best one yet.

The former four-star outside linebacker could see his future as an edge rusher in the NFL with his 6-5, 245-pound frame. He has the size to play on the edge and he’s also athletic.

Moon is a smart kid who was an SEC Academic Honor Roll selection for three seasons and was one of the nation’s top scholar athletes. He played in the Reese’s Senior Bowl after starting nine games at linebacker this past season, recording 49 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks.

I could see a team like the Vikings drafting him in the sixth round based on his potential off the edge and he could also stand up as a linebacker.

Although he’s not the best prospect, he showed off his athleticism at the combine with a 4.76 40-yard-dash and 40.5-inch vertical.
