This list would probably be void if I didn’t include the best prospect and only five-star signee in Notre Dame’s 2022 class, right?

Jaylen Sneed arrived at Notre Dame in January with hopes of playing early and he’s added some good weight and is going to crack that two-deep by the start of the season, in my opinion.

Jack Kiser, Bo Bauer, and Marist Liufau are the projected starters ahead of the season but I would not be shocked if Sneed was a starter at the end of the year. He’s good enough to start from day one but the other experienced guys are going to keep him at arm’s length for the first month.

Notre Dame’s defense wasn’t as solid as everyone would have hoped last year and just six starters return so that could open the door for Sneed to play extended snaps.

Sneed is going to be a star in South Bend.
