2. Kenny Dillingham, Oregon OC

One of the semifinalists for the Broyles Award, Kenny Dillingham makes sense here as well because he also has ties to the SEC, coaching at Auburn a few years ago.

There have already been rumors this offseason about one of the nation’s top offensive coordinators taking the Arizona State job because that’s where he went to school and it would make too much sense. But I have a hard time believing that if Ole Miss came knocking, he’d spurn the Rebels for Arizona State.

In just one year, Dillingham has turned Oregon’s offense around completely and he’s actually revived the career of Bo Nix who had struggled for years at Auburn. Dillingham has done a great job with the veteran quarterback and that’s a huge draw in itself.

Dillingham may be a tough pull but Ole Miss has a lot more to offer than Arizona State. It all depends on if Dillingham is more drawn to his alma mater compared to a bigger stage and more money.
