The reason I chose Aidan Mizell over a receiver like Eugene Wilson III as an early impact candidate is because he’s going to be enrolling early this winter while the latter four-star won’t be on campus until the summer. That makes a huge difference.

Mizell is the No. 94 recruit in the 2023 class and Andrew Ivins of 247Sports says that he’s one of the fastest receivers in the entire cycle. He stands 6-foot-2 and 290 pounds so he has plenty of size to go along with his electrifying speed.

Florida needed a couple more top receiver options this past season with only three guys topping 250 yards and since Justin Shorter is moving on, Mizell could potentially fill a starting role.

If not an immediate starter, the 6-2 speedster could very well be one of the first receivers on the two-deep and his size and speed could set him apart from the rest of the corps.

I like what Mizell brings to the table and I think he plays early on.
