College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 8
Florida State didn’t have any problems with Syracuse on Saturday afternoon, dominating its way to a 41-3 win over Syracuse.
It was a pretty flawless victory for the ACC title favorite and No. 4 team in the country, racing out to a 17-3 lead at the half and then shutting the Orange out in the final30 minutes.
Jordan Travis passed for 284 yards and a touchdown and he looked like a legit Heisman contender in this one and the highlight of the day had to be a ridiculous one-handed catch by Keon Coleman. The Michigan State transfer had nine catches for 140 yards and a touchdown as he continues to star in this elite offense.
While the offense looked really good, the defense held Syracuse under 300 total yards on 77 plays and the Seminoles just feel like a team that’s getting better at the right time.
I have a hard time seeing anyone beat Florida State this year.
