2. Jahmal Banks, WR (Wake Forest transfer)

Another position that desperately needed to be addressed by Matt Rhule this offseason was wide receiver and he added a couple in the portal, but Jahmal Banks is going to be the go-to guy.

The 6-foot-4, 208-pound wideout from Wake Forest just wrapped up his second straight 600-plus-yard season with the Demon Deacons, catching 59 passes for 653 yards and four scores. In 2022, he had 42 receptions for 638 yards and nine touchdowns. Adding a guy who racked up nearly 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns on 101 receptions over the past two seasons should have Nebraska fans thrilled.

Banks is going to come in with size and athleticism and he's going to give defenses fits, especially if the Nebraska quarterback situation becomes a strength this season rather than a weakness.

I like the addition of Isaiah Neyor from Texas as well, but Banks is going to be WR1 this season.
